Explore how ACCP chiropractors support children's health with expert, evidence-based care.

About Us

The Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics (ACCP) was formed and is run by paediatric chiropractors to best represent and support the delivery of paediatric chiropractic care in Australia.

Why It Started

The development of this College has been a lengthy process behind the scenes by a group of paediatric trained chiropractors as a solution to a perceived need. Our profession as a whole is under intense scrutiny - especially when it comes to the care we provide for children.

More so than ever we need strong, evidence-based responses when misinformed opinions or threats are made against the provision of appropriate chiropractic care for children.

Why ACCP Membership Matters

Full membership of the ACCP requires a minimum of 2-year post graduate study in the field of paediatrics - a decision that the committee arrived at to ensure that the membership suitably reflected the aims of this association.

What We Do

The ACCP has been formed as a platform to represent paediatric chiropractors with a united front and to provide the informed responses necessary for the media and the CAA. In addition to providing media representation in relation to paediatric chiropractic, the ACCP also exists to:

01

Maintain a current nation-wide membership directory to better aid those searching for a paediatric chiropractor.

02

Develop and support research into chiropractic paediatrics.

03

Improve public awareness as to the efficacy of chiropractic for paediatric conditions.

04

Promote and encourage the wider practice of chiropractic paediatrics within Australia.
